"I Honestly Love You" was #1 for 2 weeks in 1974. The song was also the winner of the Record of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female, at the 17th annual Grammy awards in 1975.
It's been a rough week for entertainers I fondly remember from my childhood.

"Magic" is definitely my favorite song of hers! Such a pleasant and sweet voice!!

Easily my all time favorite female singer ... from her 70s country stylings to 80s pop the woman's voice just did it for me. I was able to see her twice in concert, once in the 80s on the Physical tour and about 10 years ago on Long Island on a theater tour. So glad I was able to see her that last time.

I agree! There's no one quite like her. She might be my all-time favorite as well. Her voice is just so unique - so sweet and honey-laden. "Magic" has always been my favorite. Magnificent song and voice.
