Hi guys and happy new year to you also. I'll see your Old Dusseldorf and raise the stakes by a stout or maybe 2, well probably 4 if I am being honest. After all 'tis the season.

If this card game goes into the wee hours, I have a draught proposal:
Murphy's 2nd Law. If it's getting to be breakfast time, oatmeal stout.
(Whatta mess.) (Sorry.)

Mele Kalikimaka maniacs!
Allow me to drop something else I wrote for the season ...
A Christmas renku ~
On a star filled night
One shone bright, God's guiding light
Above Bethlehem
Scared and alone they set out
Following their rulers law
To his home they came
Not a burden but a Gift
She carried within
From out of the East hey rode
Kings to bow and bear witness
Among God's creatures
In a stable they made rest
Awaiting his birth
No proclamations were made
But the powerful did know
In a straw manger
In the simplest of places
Our Saviour was born
