Nice place. I'm only $1,194,000 short.

Very nice house, looks comfortable yet not too much. At least for a man who accomplished what Hillerman did.

I was surprised there is no internal elevator or more conveniences on the first floor considering his health challenges the last decade or so.

Nice find Sam!
He obviously liked his privacy with that Great Wall.....no neighbor was sneaking a pic of him through any knotholes with that "fence". That courtyard is nice too!

When it rains, it pours...

It's odd how so much seems to be happening after John Hillerman passed away....with the MPI reboot and the imminent demolition of Pahonu. It has been over a year since I have rewatched MPI, so I think I will start another rewatch now...

9 ft brick wall? How very Higgins-like of him. I wish I could afford a 9 ft brick wall around my house. Security at my "estate" is about as antiquated as a World War II soldier.

The master suite, with two bathrooms, was on the first floor. It might not be a stretch to say there was no furniture on the second floor at all.

Hi Fr. Paddy, I was envisioning that he probably had a live-in caregiver who lived upstairs.

Couldn't help but imagine a couple of good dogs roaming around those grounds.

I'm a home health aide and I have never seen that many grab bars in a shower! He really had all the bases covered.
