I am greatly saddened to learn and hear of Roger E. Mosley’s passing, and in such a tragic way! :( A legend for the original (and in my opinion the only & real) Magnum, p.i.! My thoughts and prayers go out to the family & friends.

It's made the front page of BBC News in the UK, which shows just how popular the show was.

This is a part of a article with Stephen Hill

He ( Stephen Hill )also had a touching experience this summer attending memorial services for Roger E. Mosley, the original T.C., who died Aug. 7 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Mosley's friends told him that Mosley had praised his portrayal of the character. Hill even wore a T.C.-style hat to the services, giving it to one of Mosley's relatives.

Mosley had appeared on the reboot as a storytelling barber, and Hill had hoped that it would lead to other storylines. "I will cherish that for the rest of my career, the rest of my life, " said Hill,

Why isn't Roger E. Mosley's passing posted on the main page? :(

There's a bit of a technical gap that has led to the main site not being updated in quite some time.

Thanks for sharing that Litefoot. The sincere outpouring of love and respect by all sorts of people is impressive, for Roger the man and mentor not just the actor.
That actor Stephen Hill - the reboot's TC - after a short acquaintance worshiped him says it all.
Too bad neither he nor Hillerman ever wrote a book, at least Larry did, but I am beginning to wonder if Selleck will ever actually do his, he must have
blown by 2 or 3 due dates to submit it to the publisher by now.
