First theme song and early episodes

Hi, all.
After a short break, I'm going through the series again. The two hour series premier continues to be of my favorite episodes, and I like the other early episodes too. They are a little over the top, because we are still being introduced to the characters, but I don't mind it.
I have noticed something else this time, something someone posted about. The earlier comment said something about the original theme song, and how when he heard it, he knew he was getting one of the excellent first-season episodes. I've noticed that myself during this viewing.
My phone's ringtone is the show's main theme song, but I agree: there's something special about the first half of season 1.
