Lovely project, but it's not totall clear to me what the 3 engines are good for.

Could you imagine our favorite "private investigator" taking off with a purr instead of the 308 signature sound?

Seriously, I admire the work that went into it, but why?? That's like taking a perfectly good chili dog and tossing out the dog, scraping out the mustard and chili and onions, and then putting a lump of tofu in the bun.

I agree that an electric 308 is kind of like pulling the heart out of a gazelle.....BUT that BODY is still beautiful!

The man did an incredible job of restoration on the entire car.

The electrics are very well done.

Could be he'll still be driving his 308 when the rest of us are trying to figure out how and where to get a gallon of petrol.... .....just sayin'...

Shoot, he could always put a cd in the player of recorded race car sounds, if he misses hearing the "roar" of an internal combustion engine!

Nice that it was saved....obviously not the same as the real deal, but I can appreciate the work/ time he spent in restoring his 308.
It has enough power to do a decent doughnut so there is at least one miniature horse under the hood.
I'm sure his maintenance bills will be much lower than an original, saving him a sizable sum!

Indeed, nice that he at the very least saved a burnt out 308 from the junkyard ( but wow,$10,000.00!). I would take it but my CD player would probably be the Magnum, pi theme over and over............Oh, and I hate those blacked out wheels that seem so popular now but I hate on most cars, especially the new Stingrays........

I agree with you Steve on the blacked out wheels.....does nothing for me either. Playing the MPI theme over and over works for me!
