Does anyone know the time and date Magnum P.i. Originally aired in a Australia?

Hi Bathurstfan - nice to see a fellow Aussie . I can't give you an exact date but I'm pretty sure that Magnum first started airing in Australia in 1981. Channel 10 had the rights to air the show - they initially started with a mid week slot but then soon moved it to 7.30pm on Saturday nights where the show used to draw a really large viewing audience. One of my fondest teenage memories was watching the first half of 'Hey Hey it's Saturday' on Channel 9 and then switching over to Magnum PI at 7.30 pm !!

I can't find it off hand, but I'm sure I've seen the date of the original airing in Australia somewhere in my travels.
