Hi,

I'm new to the forum, and I want to say thanks to Magnum Mania for being this amazing resource for Magnum-related information! I'm a first-time crime novelist, and I needed some Magnum facts and trivia, to make a scene play right. With all the info I found at this site, the scene grew into something funny and suspenseful - in the best Magnum tradition - and really took on a life of its own!

The novel is called Sweet Money Won, and it's available as an e-book at Amazon.com. Here's a link:

I think there's something in there for all Magnum fans to enjoy - thanks again to Magnum Mania!

All the Best,

-Mycroft Magnusson, first-time novelist & Magnum, PI afficionado

Way cool, man! Glad the site helped you out. Love the plot and book cover! It kind of has a John D. MacDonald/Carl Hiaasen vibe to it. :)

I'd pick up a copy, but I don't read e-books. I have to be able to feel and smell the paper if you know what I mean. Is it available in paperback?

J.J.,

Thanks for checking out the Amazon page, and I appreciate your warm comparisons to established writers. I like to think that means I'm on the right track.

At present, the book only exists in electronic format, so to read it would require making an exception to your rule. (I prefer books on paper, as well, though I have found e-books have their place.)

If you could take the electronic plunge and read the book, an Amazon review from you - and other Magnum Mania members - would be greatly appreciated. Reader reviews are the best thing to steer other folks toward taking a chance on something new.

As someone just starting out in crime fiction, I need all the help I can get.

Warmest Regards,

-Mycroft
