I really want a GMT, but this is pretty close for a tenth of the price. Anybody have any other suggestions for a Rolex stand in?

This is the one I have.
looks fine too, and it is certainly unbeatable price wise ... ever tried it under the shower/when swimming? I don't know if I would trust 3atm...

Why go for the off brand when you can buy a "replica almost original" Rolex GMT?

Steinhart and Debaufre are essentially the same watch company, or were until fairly recently. Beware the 44mm is a pretty huge watch though, where as the 42mm is still pretty big but more wearable. Either one though will give you years of great use and no worries in the water.

I wouldn't recomend going with a replica. They might claim to use ETA movements but more tha likely they use a Chinese clone, which, if you're lucky, might last a few months, and forget about use in the water.

One more option for a great watch is the MarcelloC. line. Not an exact look, but a trusted company with some good looking watches. :D

EDIT: totally forgot to mention that Debaufre does a pepsi GMT in 39mm as well. More of the traditional Magnum size!! :)
