That's a great find!

Very interesting look behind how some of these stories come to fruition. I will watch the episode again to try and catch the writers name in the credits...

Nice find. I bet there are a lot of similar stories about how writers came up with show ideas in the oddest of ways. It reminds me a bit of the Sienfeld episode where he and George pitched show ideas to the network execs and ended up having to make one up on the fly, which was the one that got picked of course.

I have a box of MPI scripts and in some cases I have serveral script revisions from the same episode. When comparing the revisions it is intersting to see the progression of the story and I always wondered what the writers meeting were like and how they stories got sorted out. This blog now makes me wonder even more.....
