Firstly, many thank to James for the excellent link to Larry Manetti's podcast. Really great to hear the stories from him. Well, as my post states, John Hillerman is ready and able, according to Mr Manetti. I think that we should get 200+ letters and send them to Universal as he suggests. He's absolutely right of course, there's simply is no way any other actor could play MPI, nor TC, Rick and especially Higgie.
Still like to see Megan Fox as Lily!

I agree. That part of the interview drew a big hooray from me. I am one of those that have been concerned about John Hillerman's retirement and lack of any appearences. At least we now know he is in good health and ready to glue on the Higgins toupee'...........
(I still like Mila Kunis as Lily)

Great news! I'm glad for John Hillerman!
As for Lily, Olivia Munn would do fine!

Great choice! She shows her Asian/American heritage very well. She's actually in Ironman 2 movie, although I'm not for sure who she will play.

I definetly agree that Jess Stone should proof Selleck's worth as an actor. Stone really is the new Magnum. Maturity has made him more serious. Jesse Stone was probably a beach bum back in the 80's as well.

I do not think they will make a Magnum PI movie. If the studio and Selleck wanted to make a Magnum PI movie, we would have it many years ago. Magnum ended in the 1980's. They could have made the reunion movie in the 1990's during the same time the Rockford Files made 8 movies. The ratings on the Rockford File movies were good.
