I had no clue who she was, she used her mom's maiden name when we first met, then fessed up on our 2nd date when she realized I really didn't know she was famous.

Hmmm, no one accepted the challenge of linking Sterling Heyden (whose real life reflected many of the same attributes) to Magnum.

Henry Brandon(under another name) played Barnaby in Babes in Toyland(aka March of the Wooden Soldiers) with Laurel & Hardy.
Brandon played Chief Scar in The Searchers with John Wayne.
