I mean, maybe, but you've got a group of non-authoritative unknowns on Reddit with "claims" VS direct from the "Horse's Mouth" as it were: Tom Selleck himself (who, due to his character, isn't known for telling fibs).
It should come as curious too, that the 3 separate commenters (who all for some reason picked the same avatar in different colors) in that reddit thread have NEVER participated in ANY other thread anywhere. The entirety of their comment activity is EXCLUSIVE to that thread. Does that smell like something to you?

Selleck says it was Shirley (and she's a babe regardless, having appeared a number of times on the show). Its also if interest that there is NO IMDB listing for ANY other work for a "Debbie Bonfiglio" on any show anywhere ever. (Seven years of work on MPI and NOTHING else? No ability to look this *stunt person* up? errr... yeah...)
