| That ol' familiar comfortable voice comes over the airwaves on the telly and for a moment I am thinking it's an ep for M.P.I. late at night. Nope. Selleck does the VO for the new Coldwell Banker Real Estate commercials. Apropos, really, as his dad was a CB exec for almost 4 decades.

Funny. I thought the slur Tom has was just an affect he was using for his role in Blue Bloods. But in this clip, he seems to have it as a permanent part of his speech. "Sho now that I'm in the club, sho to schpeak..."
I wonder when that happened?

| He does like his cigars, so that might be part of what we are hearing. I know a few smokers and you can hear a bit of roughness in their voices due the years off puffing. He still tells a great story though....I think one of the best parts of Magnum was Tom's narrative voice/inner voice.

Would love to hear Frank Reagan, or Jesse Stone for that matter give a huge TM style giggle like in "Distant Reletive".

| That giggle puts a smile on my face every time I hear it! The video with the remote control planes should be in the video section of Mag. Mania - a classic Mag. moment.

I was looking for the scene on the Blue Bloods episode when all the characters were cracking up around the dinner table and TS let out a Magnum-esque laugh. I couldn't find it but did find a bloopers reel. One of my huge criticisms in the eearly shows was Frank using the term "forthwith" as I felt no one talks like this in real life. I'm glad they included it in the bloopers......Enjoy....
