If you're reading this post NOW, don't, you've got less than 15 minutes to grab some popcorn and get over to the Hallmark Channel.

I really enjoyed this movie! I loved everything about it! Jesse Stone is a great character, and Tom Selleck does a fantastic job portraying him! Time to watch every Jesse Stone movie in order! I'll watch this again next Sunday night!

Yep, great movie and kudos to TS for co-writing this one. Gotta love Jesse Stone, a character so depressing in the beginning he comes as close as he ever will to shedding a tear yet, still has the following characters that either still love, or fall in love with him;

an ex-escort
a dog named "Steve"
a lounge singer
a Boston police Lt.
a 13 year old girl
and, a Nun.........

Go Jesse!

Great to hear all these positive comments about the new Jesse Stone. I have little chance of seeing it soon here  . Hopefully it will not be too long before its available on DVD. :magnum:

Hard to wait until it's available on DVD or iTunes :(
I really enjoyed all the movies, Jesse Stone is such a complex character!
Higgins: Magnum, you are clad only in your undershorts.
Magnum: Of course I am.
Higgins: Even for you I find that just a trifle casual.

Actually just caught it. I think it was a step above the past few and goes more in line with the first few movies (Stone Cold / Night Passage) and was nice to see a lot of the old characters come back.

It sort of wrapped up a little conveniently at the end and I nabbed the culprit pretty early in, but it was a solid plot and decent characters.

Nice to see Luke Perry play a pretty despicable character, even though the 90210 theme song kept playing in my head every time I saw him.

That's a brave admission to make in public, Doc! I can only hope you watched 90210 under severe sibling or spousal duress.

In college, I lived with 5 roommates and 1 TV. 1 of those roommates was obsessed with 90210 (or "Niner" as he referred to it) and he scheduled his classes around it (and it was his TV). Unfortunately, I didn't have classes during that time so I was exposed to it at least 2 hours a day. I can say that I have seen every episode, albeit under duress..

Needless to say, I got my own place the next year and thats when I rediscovered Magnum on A&E, and the rest they say.. is history!

I just realized that connection as I typed this. It seems almost Kevin Bacon-esque in the connectivity.

Fascinating...

Finally got to see Lost in Paradise and I'm happy to say that I too enjoyed it a lot - great to see a lot of familiar faces and beautifully shot (as usual). And (as usual for me) my fav scenes were with Dr. Dix and Jesse :)

(shame we didn't see the Paradise police department however - maybe in the next one?)
Make it two weeks.
