I found Season 2 to be deep in entertainment. There were a few throwaway episodes (Mad Buck, Elmo Ziller, 3-2) but overall they were spaced well and the season flowed nicely.

I love season two! It has a more established and organized feel to it than one (which would be obvious lol). In my personal opinion season 3 is the best with season 2 the second best.

I think season 2 was kind of hit and miss. Some really good eps and some not so great. Perhaps a bit of sophomore jinx going on. Of course, some of the one's I don't care for rate highly on here, so who knows. Maybe its just me.

Woman on the Beach is in my top five Magnum episodes of all time, but I probably wouldn't put any others close to that high. Some solid entertaining eps though.

Season 2 was not great or bad. It ranked 6th out of 8 in average episode ratings that I listed in the Best and Weakest Seasons Thread. It really did not impress me but kept me interested. Looking back it did have several redeeming qualities. Memories Are Forever gave us Michelle and was the best (two) episodes. Rick got attention with Woman on the Beach while TC got 'top billing" with the Sixth Position. Higgins scored two episodes with Tropical Madness and Elmo Ziller Story (One of my personal favorites!). Try to Remember introduced Lt. Tanaka which most thought was a crowd-pleaser. Jeff McKay got five episodes as Lt. MacReynolds. There were some good, basic investigations and not a lot of comedic episodes.

There were quite a few guest stars such as Vic Morrow, Darren McGavin, Vera Miles, Elisha Cook (as Harold Farber not as Icepick), Tyne Daly, Julie Sommars, Joanna Kerns and Jill St. John but they really didn't seem to help the ratings.

ENSHealy: Luv the 4th wall break compilation. :geek:

It's "just great"! :magnum:

Nice job....thanks for all your contributions....seems like when you get through the entire series, all the entries should be organised into a separate section for easy access.

Now I know why you won't help me.

I gotta wait for you. You got the eagle eye.

I've gone through a whole swath of season 4 and not finding 4th Walls.

I'm having serious self doubts about my cognitive abilities now. :P
