Magnum Mania!

I had to smile when the Lego Movie came out to good reviews......maybe this is the way to get the movie done! Our kids might like it more than us, but I would prefer to see a Lego Magnum to a Matthew McConaughey Magnum any day!
We've already seen the Lego MPI characters, the helicopter and the Ferrari, not to mention a fun intro that has been produced....refer to the Magnum P.I. Lego Cuusoo thread in Magnum P.I. Talk for more info.

You know, another possibility is a video game. That would be really cool, and perhaps could even be a catalyst (or a side effect) of a magnum movie or tv movies. Since it's a game, they could use a combination of old footage and reconstruct all the characters in 3d (in a first person sense), including the estate, the car, and real footage of the island. Imagine playing a game and having to follow hints and your own little virtual voice as you try to figure out a case in time, running around the island in the virtual 308. Although these games 3d games done right although probably cheaper than a movie can still cost plenty.

I vaguely remember a member actually talking about wanting to create a MPI video game, but I can't seem to find the thread.....it's in here somewhere. I wonder if he is going ahead with it or has the project been grounded due to copyright issues.
