Sad update

I don't get on here nearly as often as I'd like and hate when I have to for something like. I just found out that long time forum member, Steve, has passed away. He and I were in contact through Facebook and unfortunately were not able to work out a meetup when I was in his neck of the woods this past August. I hadn't heard from him in a few months and received confirmation of his passing from his brother this weekend. I have linked to his obit .... 68 is way too young to go. :(

So .... I raise a toast to a fellow Maniac .... Sail On Steve ....

 Yeah Conch, losing acquaintances and friends is tough and at this age, (don't know if we're near the same age, staring at 60 around the corner) my friends are getting ill and I've lost a couple now.

The only thing we can do is live our days, as best we can, with health and wellness. And on some days, I reminisce of my times with my friends passed (and past). I wish that feeling on no one, but would never trade it. It's what we have left of them. :(
Be well Sir

It's always sad to learn about something like that. What was his login? I don't know most people's names.

Believe it or not, it was just Steve. Great guy.

Yeah, I'm guessing most MPI fans are "of a certain age". I'm mid 50s and am probably in the middle to younger-middle of the MPI demographic. Sad to see these things happen but you are right, I like to believe that thinking of them affects that soul spark and they know.
