I'm glad they didn't split Five-O releases into half seasons like CBS/Paramount have done with their other shows.
Yes...it's finally done! Six years ago CBS/Paramount originally had said once that they did not plan to release "5-0" to DVD because there were too many seasons. Within the next year season 1 was finally released. Thank God, they changed their minds!
I have yet to go down town and get Season 12...but I will in the next day or so. Then I will have the total complete series...minus "Bored, She Hung Herself" as you stated.
But, back in 2006 (when CBS originally said they weren't releasing "5-0" officially to DVD) I purchased one of those complete series homemade DVD sets--which included an original broadcast of "Bored, She Hung Herself"!! It's not in very good condition...but if you're as big of fan as I am it
is still watchable and awesome to have the one "lost" episode!
It's hard to believe that almost all the original cast is no longer living! Wish they could've lived long enough to see the show released to DVD...all new interviews with them as special features would have been awesome!
Also, I agree that it's nice CBS/Paramount did not split the "5-0" DVD sets into volumes. Another classic show that's a favorite of mine is "Perry Mason"...and every season is split into two different volumes. It gets old after a while.
But, I can't totally complain...I'm still glad and greatful CBS is continuing to release the shows, regardless of the format.
