yup......I'm gonna watch. Also agree his Cooper character on Vegas was a better watch. I actually liked that season and was disappointed to see it go.....but the handwriting was on the wall before Selleck arrived. He just couldn't save it.

His coimmish role needs some levity. Every episode is that sour puss, talking mustache look of his.......is it the role or has Tom Selleck grown up on us?

Does anyone know what type of gun TS is using as Frank Reagan?

oh God.......watched the last 2 new episodes last night........and he draws his gun to kill a rapist....looks like a standard service revolver.........actually looked funny in his hands.......tiny......

show is growing on me........still a bit ragged and i don't think they can do a whole lot with it. This thing has a limited shelf life.

I thought Frank's dad called it a "Fitz Special" ? Not sure of the spelling on that.

Layne, I think that was it. Very interesting pistol and history. Thanks.

Blue Bloods has continued to perform well for CBS, so now they've decided to move it to Wednesday nights for a few weeks.

No. They're doing this on Jan. 19th. I even saw an ad for it while watching 5-0 last night.

Last time I saw that the one thing I thought when Selleck was on screen was "I wish he'd yell so his voice would get all high pitched again like Magnum."
The last one I think was the cold case episode they did with the kid. He definitely got to act in that one.

I'm afraid to admit that I am starting to channel surf when it is on. If it wasn't for Donnie Wahlberg and Jennifer Esposito I'm not sure if I would even watch every week. All I think about now is TS admitting on the last few interviews that he flies to NYC every couple of weeks and they shoot all his parts while he is there. To me, it shows..............

I thought that episode marked one of the few times you could see a hint of Thomas Magnum slipping out in TS' performance.

Frank Reagan has a scene near the end in which he attempts to get a suspect to confess to a child's murder. As he does so, his mannerisms (particularly the way TS uses his hands) are very Magnum-esque.
