I for one would like to thank those of you that have read the Stone books for adding some insight into the style and flavor of Jesse Stone. I became a fan of the movies little by little and have even come to expect the "I will, I am, I was" out of Selleck but am drawing the line when it bleeds into the other characters especially when they are played by such incredible actors. I'm beginning to think that TS has adopted this form of speech as to appear "wisely". For crying out loud, he even has Frank Regan talking like that and will throw in the ocassional "tell him I will be there forthwith". What Irish Catholic from Queens talks like that!!!!!
