Stranger Things

I'd recommend Stranger Things on Netflix to anyone who enjoys things of the 1980s.
The first season is rich with references to 1980s pop culture- particularly the work of Steven Spielberg and Stephen King.

Yeah man. It was so amazing. I'm willing to bet that James is a fan too. I know he likes Stephen King and there's certainly some influence from the movies he inspired in the 80s.

Another huge fan here of Stranger Things! What a show! And what a cool opening sequence! Holding my breath for the next season this December.

For a moment, I wondered where all the parents were as I watched this show. Then I remembered it was set in my childhood eighties, and then I remembered we just picked up our bikes and kinda just went wherever we wanted to go, with few questions asked by the moms and pops. Made me miss my old bike in a way.

I need to give this a look . . . I think I have mostly worked SOA out of my system so I need something else to step up. I mean I can't watch The Glades or The Finder or Burn Notice AGAIN . . . can I?

The networks really need to step up and provide more Florida/warm weather based excitement again. Bloodlines got a bit too dark and Death in Paradise, a BBC production set in the Caribbean was good the first few seasons but cast changes threw off the dynamic in season 3.

I just started watching "Bosch" on Amazon Prime and it is an excellent show, I highly recommend it.
That reminds me of the time....
