it was written in 1990, I probably didn't read it until it was out for a while.

TCM aired Alien last night. Hadn't seen it in a LONG time. What a great movie! Even better than I remembered it. The tension and suspense just never let up; near perfect pacing. The dark, claustrophobic sets and Ridley Scott's camera work are just masterful. It was great to see it again!

Conch, my The Thing was Carpenter's, which is much better than the original IMHO.
Higgins: It's not a scratch! It's a bloody gouge!

THE WAR OF THE WORLDS (radio version).
It was made into a movie, but the radio version scared the crap out of many people, as they thought there was a real invasion going on.
It was performed as a Halloween episode on Oct. 30 1938 and it was directed and narrated by none other than Orson Welles (aka ROBIN MASTERS).

I dare you guys to watch Drag Me To Hell, released last year by Sam Raimi, who also did the Evil Dead series. One of the best horror movies in years

Oh by the way, any of you Evil Dead Fans (James, paging YOU!). Don't forget to check out Evil Dead" The Musical. I'm not kidding, theres a musical. I saw it live last year in Vancouver, but if its not in your town, you should watch it on youtube. It's awesome!
