I'll have you know that not all of us "Da Bears" fans dress in grass skirts and wear coconut bra's .........Well okay, maybe if we were at a Jimmy Buffet concert the same weekend...............

Speaking of "Da Bears" it has been a very disappointing year. I am becoming more frustrated every Sunday! The defense stinks, and the offense isn't much better!

One more Bears fan here.

My favourite Bears anecdote:

I was interviewing George Halas and I asked him who is the greatest running back you ever saw. And he said, 'That would be Red Grange.' And I asked him if Grange was playing today, how many yards do you think he'd gain. And he said, 'About 750, maybe 800 yards.' And I said, 'Well, 800 yards is just okay.' He sat up in his chair and he said, 'Son, you must remember one thing. Red Grange is 75 years old.' —Chris B

Interesting.........Bears fans around the Globe and here I am in Chicago, not more than 4 miles from Soldier Field and I am a Vikings fan.....LOL!
I can't help it, I lived in Minneapolis from age 11 to age 29, when I moved to Chicago in 1983. I suffered through the Vikings four Super Bowl losses during thos years...Perhaps this year with Favre they can finally do it..............

The Bears stunk it up again last night. Steve your Vikings are looking pretty good this year. The Bears have yet to play yhem so that is two more losses making the season officially over.

Raider fan here. It's not pretty.

Since this thread has morped into a football discussion, isn't the Army-Navy game coming up soon? This weekend maybe?
