In 1980, I was a HUGE fan of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century which is so awful! The second season was even worse with the move to that ship and an annoying cluster of dopey characters, like that eagleheaded "Hawk." I'm so glad I discovered MPI during its second season, it gave me something to look forward to on Thursday nights. IIRC, BUCK was on NBC, Thursdays at 8pm.

I still like to watch the Beverly Hillbillies. It was very cleverly written and very well acted. I also like the Andy Griffith Show for the same reasons.

Several other of my favorites are X Files, Frasier, Seinfeld, and of course MPI!

It's amazing to me how these shows look "old" now when you see them on re-runs. I can remember when they were new. Funny how the clothes, the hair-dos, etc now look so dated. I'm getting older too, I guess.

Even my wife who watches Friends on late night re-runs remarks how the mid to late 90's episodes now look so "old."

Speaking of the passage of time not treating one so well... did anyone catch Mimi Rogers from Stone Cold? Yikes! She was a beautiful woman 25 years ago... :o

Well, now that I think about it, I looked much better 25 years ago also...

Just watched Italian Ice last night. Mimi Rogers has aged very nicely. I thought she looked pretty good in Stone Cold! JMHO

I don't know what has happened in Mrs. Camp's life but she is almost unrecognizable in that picture. Maybe that is not her best photo.
I knew it was her because I have had a crush on her since "Clue", where she filled the tiny outfit of the busty French maid Yvette.
Everytime I see that movie (which I like very much, btw) and she enters the scene I just can't turn my eyes away from her...from her.
It is one of that images that are engraved into my brain.
I saw the MPI episode where she is in not a long ago and she was absolutely smoking hot in that too.
As far as I remember she was pretty hot in the "Police Academy" series also.

Denny Miller has changed quite a bit since his Magnum days, and certainly since his Tarzan days.

Image

I wouldn't say "time" has treated him badly, however. He's just.... different. ;)

Shows that I still enjoy:

Magnum, P.I.
Simon & Simon
Miami Vice
Spenser: For Hire
Vega$
Nash Bridges
All in the Family
Family Ties
I'd also watch Mickey Spilane's Mike Hammer (Stay Keach) if someone would show it or release it on dvd.

Shows that I enjoyed, but don't hold up for me:

Knight Rider
A-Team
Airwolf
Greatest American Hero
The Equalizer

It's getting close to retirement time my friend. You've rocked hard for decades. You've escaped death numerous times. You've clawed yourself (and your band) out of the gutter and became bigger than you ever were in your initial heyday.... but I think father time is now saying its time to hang it up. ;)
