Caught a showing of Mel Gibson's "The Patriot" earlier this week and it made me wonder (once again) if Zeus and Apollo were the inspiration for Cornwallis's Great Danes, Jupiter and Mars, who adopted Gibson's character. I was channeling Higgins and The Lads whenever they appeared!
Or maybe Cornwallis's dogs really did exist and were the inspiration for Zeus and Apollo?!
