The Magnum p.i. Cast

#1 Post by ThomasSullivanMagnumIV »

What has the cast been up to since Magnum p.i. ended its run in 1988? I know that Tom Selleck when on to do movies ans guest star on soem TV shows. What about John Hillerman, Roger E. Mosley and Larry Manetti?

Another couple of questions:

1. I recently read on this mesage board that Marta DuBois plays on a show called McBride. What else has she done since Magnum p.i.?

2. What happend to Magnum's Ferrari after the series' run? Was it auction off?

The Ferrari

#2 Post by SelleckLover »

I know that they had several Ferrari's that they used on the show, and one of them is on display in some kind of casino somewhere in Colorado. An acquaintance of mine who played poker for a living, emailed me pictures of it, but I lost them when our 'puter crashed and we had to buy a new motherboard and hard drive. Sorry to be so vague, but I can't remember where he said it was, and he has since passed away so I can't ask him.! I met this person on eblogger.com where Tom Selleck allegedly has a blog....I've posted a couple of threads on the blog, but Tom never answers any of them, and besides I don't think it's really Tom's anyway! Just my opinion. :D

There was more than one Ferrari used on the show throughout the years and there were multiple cars used for each model. According to his book Aloha, Magnum Larry Manetti bought one of the Ferraris after the show ended. I'm not sure if he still has it though.

You can find a copy on Amazon or you could try Ebay. The price has gone up since I bought my copy; I wonder if it's out of print now. :?

Aloha Magnum by Larry Manetti

#6 Post by SelleckLover »

This post is for ThomasSullivanMagnumIV~

There are several copies of Larry Manetti's book, titled Aloha Magnum up for sale on the internet auction site Half.com. Click on this link: http://product.half.ebay.com/_W0QQprZ79 ... idZ1152921 Prices range from approximately $60 to $200. It is currently out of print and that's why the high prices. I have yet to obtain a copy, because I have to really watch what I spend on my "hobby". My husband says that I probably have more pictures and magazine articles about TS than his own mother! That statement may or may not be true. :D

I read somewhere that John Hillerman was retired and living in texas. Roger Mosley seems to be forever linked to OJ Simpson now (so I've heard). Larry Mannetti seems to be doing okay. As for working regularly, only Tom Selleck seems to still be in the public eye now.
