Oh no!

I just mentioned his TV show Werewolf last night.

How sad, I loved him. He had an intimidating presence and I mean that in a good way!

RIP Lance.

This is SAD news indeed. I can't think of many actors who had his presence. By all accounts he was a very nice man. One of the regulard I'd loved to have met.

Wow. The last episode of Magnum I watched was yesterday--"Missing in Action." Great voice and a fine performer.

What a voice he had. As Glen Larson once said, "a voice that was four octaves lower than God's." Nobody played Colonel's better than he did.

RIP Lance!

A couple of examples of his singing career including appearing with ELVIS on his '68 comeback TV show........Wonder how many gals you can seduce with the line "yea, that was me sitting to The King's right playing a mean tambourine............

Played the colonel role very well and I often wondered whether he was ultimately going to come out as a bad guy. Interesting conversation in the episode where TM's spirit visited him and said along the lines "I know you are a good man".

RIP Lance.
