Carmen -- when I read your post about the "no beer in Hawaii" song, I had the same reaction as Grapeshot did -- it sounds a lot like a polka called "In Heaven there is no beer".
But Heaven, paradise, Hawaii -- pretty much all the same, huh?

These songs are so very pretentious all over the world *VBG* Guess we all can sing our own version together and nobody would notice any difference

Ahhh . . . I found another Old Dusseldorf thread.
I say a dark beer in color, but not heavy in flavor, more on the bitter side, but not too strong.
