Does anyone know why Patty McCormick didn't continue as Carol? I could never find anything explaining it. I liked her version of Carol MUCH BETTER than Kathleen Lloyd.

Good question. Looking at her wikipedia page, it doesn't look like she had much going on between 1982 and '88.
