I can see Higgins in a celestial setting, reading Byron to the Anglo - Hawaiian Society Of Angels.

Thanks for all the loving and funny memories you left us with Mr Hillerman and rest in peace.

That’s a shame. I guess it’s normal if you’re elderly and you’ve never married or had kids. I wonder why he was alone all these years?

Damn, these last few years have been rough celebrity death-wise. One guest spot Hillerman had that I feel the need to point out is his role on Soap, he plays a minister who’s doing marriage counseling on two of the main characters and for a cast as talented as Soap’s he still manages to stand out because of how funny he is. Rest In Peace, Mr. Hillerman.

Hopefully the site bosses will update the MPI news page with something about JH's death.

That's on me, since taking over the site I have yet been able to take a tutorial on how to update the main page. :-/

My first priority was keping the site going, I'm waiting to hear back from JJ regarding how that's done.

My first post here. Longtime fan, longtime lurker, was unable to get past the trivia question to get joined but finally did tonight.
Hillerman was absolutely essential to the show. Just as integral as Selleck, in my opinion. I watched episode 4 from season 1 tonight. Obviously I never met him but still felt sadness upon finding out he had left this world.

Welcome Nikita70!

You are indeed correct, the chemistry between Hillerman and Selleck was magical and helped elevate the series from the usual fare to something much deeper and longer lasting. It's the main reason why any talk of a reboot should stall after the question is even raised.

I posted this two days ago--ten minutes after the Hollywood Reporter itself did. I'm getting the sneaking suspicion that no one reads anyone else's posts around here. :D
