I received my cap the other day, I love it! I'm looking forward to wearing it this weekend when I take the kayak out.

Received mine from Bondtoys last week....have to say "Outstanding"....on every count. Well worth the price and the wait.

Thank you all for the updates.
My particular thanks go out to Daniel for finding the 4-panel caps and to the gals and guys that created / helped with the logos.
I was just picking up the pieces and put them together.

And let me make clear again:
If Downing would have ever succeeded to recreate the cap, I'd gotten one of them from them.
I have started to do one cap for myself and have done more for people that asked for caps.
I am not making any money out of this - just helping others.

A few years ago I spoke with Keone Downing to inquire about the hat. He told me they no longer had the hats and really didnt plan on reissuing them. I see no problem with you recreating the hat for true MPI fans. I dont believe Downing would either. From his angle it could only mean free publicity for his store. Good work on the hats. I look forward to getting mine. It's the one Magnum hat I have not been able to get.
